Dear Rotarians, Greetings from the President’s Desk Team Change 09 -10 has arrived.At the outset, I wish to Thank all my fellow Rotarians for electing me to lead this wonderful club for the Year 09 – 10. I look forward to the cooperation of all members to enable me to take this club to greater heights.RI and the District’s Theme this year has been to advice all clubs to concentrate on CORE Areas of Eradicating Hunger, Enhancing Literacy, Ensuring supply of Clean Water and Health. Apart from the Core Areas of Thrust this year, our club is already having great Service Projects being undertaken and I propose to continue with the same.Our Club is known for its Unique Fellowship. This Year, the Anns have planned very interesting Thematic Fellowships and I look forward to the participation of all Rotarians with their families. New Members add new Blood to the existing ideas of the club and therefore I request all members to identify and invite their Friends and Associates whom they think have a passion to serve society at large and can enrich our club. This is going to be a key Thrust area this year and a Committee for Membership Development has already been formed and I hope the Committee will deliver results very shortly with the help and cooperation of all members. I can assure of a very interesting Service Oriented, Fun Filled Rotary Year ahead. Yours in Rotary, Rtn. Vijaay Sheth Dear Rotarians, It is indeed a humbling moment to be chosen as the President by the members of the prestigious Rotary Club of Madras T. Nagar and lead the Club for the Rotary year 2008 - 09. Rotary Club of Madras T. Nagar has always been prominent as a “PERFORMING CLUB” in Rotary District 3230. Our club is blessed with excellent members who cherish the idea of service to community. The focus for this year will be COMPASSION IN ACTION. In order to widen the perspective of Rotarians. distinguished citizens from all walks of life would be addressing us in the weekly meeting. To promote bonhomie among the Rotary families, regular fun filled fellowship will be organized. It would our continuous endeavor to increase Membership of our Club by inducting citizens who will strengthen the Rotary movement, Our Club will be involved in several initiatives in all Avenues of Service and will continue the on going permanent projects. Our Club would actively participate in the projects organized by our District and make substantial contributions to RI foundation during the year. I am confident with the guidance of all senior Rotarians and enthusiasm of members of our Club, we will have a fulfilling and memorable Rotary year.
